How to Shine Shoes?
Shoes are an important part of one’s personality. Wearing clean and neat shoes gives a very good first impression. Many times the first thing that people notice in others is shoes itself. So when it is about making the first impression, shoes show their worth. Well, no one would like to go anywhere with dirty shoes. To help you in keeping your shoes clean, in order to make your personality more impressive, you need to take a few steps.
The first thing that you need to do is to remove any dirt from your shoes. Normally when you walk long distances or go outside, your shoes will have some unwanted dirt on them. Try to remove that unwanted stuff with a tissue or wet towel if needed. It’s better to use very little water or just a moist towel rather than completely wet. A completely wet towel can take the polish off the shoe. So it is not a good idea to use a wet towel.
After that take a liquid polish and apply it on your shoes. It would be good if you have the matching color polishes at your home for your different shoes. Spread the polish on the shoe and the polish should be a little more on the toes and heels of the shoes. Then keep the shoes at any place so that heir polish may dry down. Once the polish dries down which will not take very long, then use your horsehair brush and start applying it on the shoe. Puff the shoes with the brush. Try removing the wet areas until you get a little shine.
To keep shining shoes regularly you need to keep a shoe shining kit at your home. This will help you perform the task easily at any time since you have all things together just to be used. Not only that but it will also help you in remembering the steps. You might forget these steps but when you will have all the material in front of you, you will be more comfortable in using that. So keeping a shoe shining kit is always a good idea.
It is really easy to bring shine in your shoes within no time. It would be good if you do this before going out of the house. Keep the shining kit near your door so that you remember to do that before you leave. Try to be a little more careful while doing that with light colored clothes. This is because if it is transferred onto the clothes easily and can be very difficult to take it off. If you want to wear light colored clothes it would be better if you polish shoes first and then dress up.
Shoes are an important part so it’s better to do that extra bit with shoes to make your personality shine further. After all, it takes only a few minutes to bring that 'x' factor in your personality.
