Once the polish dries down which will not take very long, then use your horsehair brush and start applying it on the shoe. Puff the shoes with the brush. Try removing the wet areas until you get a little shine.

To keep shining shoes regularly you need to keep a shoe shining kit at your home. This will help you perform the task easily at any time since you have all things together just to be used. Not only that but it will also help you in remembering the steps. You might forget these steps but when you will have all the material in front of you, you will be more comfortable in using that. It is really easy to bring shine in your shoes within no time. It would be good if you do this before going out of the house. Keep the shining kit near your door so that you remember to do that before you leave. Try to be a little more careful while doing that with light colored clothes. This is because if it is transferred onto the clothes easily and can be very difficult to take it off. If you want to wear light colored clothes it would be better if you polish shoes first and then dress up.
